We are currently seeking 4 Full Time Permanent staff members to join our team based at our Operations Centre, Keilor Park.
The role
Reporting to the Roads and Drainage Maintenance Coordinator, we are seeking 4 Road Maintenance Multiskilled Officers who can bring their skills and experience for:
- Ability to operate plant and other associated equipment to carry out the maintenance, construction and repair of Council assets (roads and drainage maintenance)
- Knowledge and understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Procedures; Quality Procedures; Vic Roads Codes of Practice in relation to Traffic Control Signage and Directions.
- Knowledge and understanding in all matters of safe plant use; work practices and workplace safety.
- Knowledge and experience in road and drainage maintenance and minor construction practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Competent in the use of mobile computing devices

- Medium Rigid Truck Drivers Licence
- Road and Drainage Maintenance experience
- Traffic Control and Worksite Traffic Management
- OH&S; Induction Card

- Backhoe or Front End loader or Excavator or Skid steer licence*
- Asphalt patching truck*
- Drainage combination unit*

*Please note, if these requirements are not met upon commencement, Council will provide required training.
