About the Company
Our client is a premier global OEM specialising in the design, manufacture, and service of high-performance vibrating screens, feeders, and sorting systems. Operating from a world-class, purpose-built facility in Kenwick, they support the heavy mining, quarrying, and recycling sectors with custom-engineered capital machinery and a dedicated aftermarket rebuild program.
Due to sustained team growth and a busy order book, they are seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter to join their close-knit, supportive workshop team on a permanent, ongoing basis.
About The Role
Based entirely within their state-of-the-art Kenwick workshop, you will be responsible for assembling brand-new OEM machinery and completely refurbishing heavy-duty processing equipment. This is a clean, modern, and highly structured environment optimised for high quality and safety.
Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include
- Assembly of new-build industrial vibrating screens, exciters, and feeders.
- Stripping down, assessing, and overhauling heavy fixed plant machinery components.
- Aligning, fitting, and precision assembling structural steel and mechanical parts according to engineering drawings.
- Utilising overhead cranes and workshop tooling safely.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will be a safety-conscious trade professional who takes pride in high-quality mechanical work.
Mandatory Requirements
- Trade Qualification: Australian Recognised Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter) or equivalent
- Tickets: High-Risk Work Licence for Dogging (DG) is mandatory, High-Risk Work Licence for Forklift (LF) is desirable
- Experience: Demonstrated background maintaining or building fixed plant equipment, with specific exposure to industrial screens, vibrators, exciters, or feeders highly regarded.
