Essential Criteria
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Certificate IV in Civil Construction or related field, or equivalent
demonstrated experience relevant to the position.
- Experience in civil construction practices relating to roads, drainage, water, sewer and earthworks.
- Ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake inspections and assess compliance with standards and approvals.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working within local government or development assessment environments.
- Experience applying engineering conditions or reviewing development-related engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of subdivision approval and construction certification processes.
- Experience in civil testing, quality assurance or construction compliance activities.
- Experience using engineering, CAD, GIS or asset management software.

Salary: $1,679.70 to $1,764.87 per week + 12% superannuation
Position Status: Permanent - Full-time
Hours of work: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM with an RDO every third week
