Howyou'llmake a difference:

As a Graduate Systems and Safety Assurance Engineer, you'll gain hands‑on experience while being supported by experienced mentors and a collaborative team. You'll have the opportunity to:

- Work on nationally significant transportation and infrastructure projects, helping to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performing systems.
- Learn from experienced engineers and specialists across Systems Engineering, Human Factors, Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM), and Safety Assurance disciplines.
- Develop practical skills in hazard identification, risk assessment, requirements management, and systems assurance.
- Contribute to solving real-world engineering challenges that improve safety, performance, and user experience.
- Support the development of key project deliverables, including safety documentation, hazard logs, human factors registers, and system safety risk registers.
- Participate in reliability and safety analyses that help reduce human error and enhance the resilience of critical infrastructure.




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build valuable qualified relationships across engineering, operations, and project delivery.

Requirements for Success

- Graduate Attributes: We'reseeking graduates withstrong communicationand teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree:



You must be in your final year or have completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
- Commencement: You must be able tocommencework by February 2027. We are open to mid-year finishers whoare able tocommenceby July 2027.
- Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australiabefore applying.
