About the role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide protected, competent and contemporary clinical nursing care to our residents within your scope of practice and in accordance with AHPRA requirements.
Working closely with the Care Manager and wider team, you will support residents to achieve the best possible quality of life through high-quality clinical care.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Completing comprehensive resident assessments and participating in admissions
- Developing, implementing and reviewing resident care plans
- Maintaining accurate and high-quality clinical documentation
- Providing direct clinical care and supporting residents with their individual care needs
- Administering medications safely and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
- Working collaboratively with residents, families, GPs and the wider care team
- Supporting the delivery of person-centred care across the home

About you
We're looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
To be considered, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of aged care standards and requirements
- An understanding of the aged care accreditation process
- Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain one
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
