Woodford Hotel is a family-owned business offering 10 motel rooms, alongside a busy retail and on-premise hospitality operation with a strong food business. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Hotel Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about quality food, outstanding guest experiences, solid team leadership, and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, motivate, and develop the hotel team.
- Oversee front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance operations.
- Maintain excellent standards of guest service, cleanliness, presentation, and safety.
- Manage staffing, rosters, training, performance, and recruitment.
- Monitor budgets, costs, occupancy, revenue, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, employment, health and safety, and food-hygiene requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers, contractors,



and the hotel owners or senior management.
- Identify opportunities to increase bookings, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

About you

- Previous hotel management or senior hospitality experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and performance targets.
- A calm, practical approach in a fast-paced environment.
- High standards of customer service and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Relevant hospitality qualifications are desirable but not essential.
