Key responsibilities

- In this branch, you will have the prospect to use your expertise, build trusted relationships and contribute to work that matters across the parliamentary system.
- You will be required to monitor your own workload and prioritise tasks, and be an enthusiastic team member who is willing to assist your peers by taking on additional work where required.
- The team is based in Canberra and has approximately 30 members split into sub-teams responsible for providing payroll,



systems and administrative services to staff employed under the under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 (MOP(S) Act).
- Delivering payroll services for approximately 2,300 MOP(S) Act employees across Australia, supported by HR Helpdesk and IT systems support.

What you need

- You must be able to work effectively under pressure, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to collaborate with your Helpdesk team members to provide a high standard of service to federal parliamentarians and their staff.
