Responsible for coordination of transport and transport arrangements for patients and their escorts, including liaison with PATS coordinators for patients and escorts from interstate.

Key responsibilities

- Assist clinicians in communicating with clients regarding their health care and health procedure, and any other health information, in a manner that is culturally sensitive and taking into considerations of any language barrier.
- Support Aboriginal patients through culturally safe hospital care as a valued liaison across southern Adelaide health services.

What you need

- Demonstrated ability to work in a culturally sensitive and accountable manner with Aboriginal individuals, families and communities.
- Ability to develop supportive and team-oriented relationships with Aboriginal individuals, families and communities.
- Significant experience in working with Aboriginal individuals, their families and communities.
