About the role Job Summary The Production Worker / Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This role supports the manufacturing process by identifying defects, maintaining equipment, and following production protocols. This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously. We are looking for a Trade Assistant to join our Brendale Service Centre team in Australia. Please note, no visa or work permit support can be provided for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble LV, MV & HV electrical rotating machinery
- General assistance in the workshop as designated by the Supervisor or Works Manager.
- Cleaning of Workshop, and Offices where required
- Painting of motors, equipment and floors
- Follow safety and quality standards
- Assist in troubleshooting and basic maintenance
- Help clean and paint various mechanical or electromechanical assemblies including: shafts, gears, seals, impellers, mechanical switches, brakes, clutches, clutch rotors, fans, end shields, bearing fit.





Skills & Qualifications

- Sound communication skills
- Good level of time management
- Ability to engage and work with others
- Forklift Licence
- Basic mechanical and technical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with safety and quality procedures
- Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment
