About the Opportunity

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with haematological and oncological malignancies, supporting them through outpatient anti-cancer therapy, radiotherapy and the emotional and supportive care that accompanies their treatment journey. This position plays a key role in providing compassionate, patient-centred care throughout the cancer treatment journey.

In this role you will:

- Provide compassionate, patient-centred nursing care throughout the cancer treatment journey
- Coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality care tailored to each patient's needs
- Support patients and families through treatment with empathy, education and reassurance
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and a commitment to skilled nursing standards.
- Experience in oncology, haematology or radiation oncology, or a willingness to undertake relevant training.
- Experience in chemotherapy administration and-or radiotherapy patient care.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- A collaborative, patient-focused mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and uphold NSW Health CORE values.
- Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
