Key responsibilities

- A classroom teacher at Thornbury High School is responsible for designing and delivering an educational program for their students which is consistent with the aims and objectives of the School and the Department of Education.
- Reports To: Health/PE KLA Leader.
- Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school.
- Creating a calm, positive environment that is conducive to students learning,



in line with the school's student well-being and engagement policies and processes.

What you need

- Teachers at range 1 are responsible for teaching their own classes and may also assist and participate in policy development, project teams and the organisation of co-curricula activities.
- These teachers teach a range of students/classes and are accountable for the effective delivery of their programs.
- Provide expert advice about the content, processes and strategies that will shape individual and school skilled learning.
