Home Care Experts is a registered NDIS provider delivering services across the Greater Melbourne region and beyond. Since our inception in 2021, we have been able to establish ourselves as a credible and responsible service provider specialising in deliveringuninterrupted, high-quality support to people with disabilities with very high needs. We are seeking a agile and passionate services manager to independently manage the support delivery of our participants.
About You
As an experienced services manager, you will possess the following:
Extensive understanding of NDIS Regulatory Framework
A minimum of two years of work experience in the capacity of a services manager or similar supervisory role in NDIS sector
Be committed to the growth and sustainability of the business as well as the wellbeing and safety of our participants
Ability to work efficiently in a highly demanding and dynamic environment, a highly decentralised care delivery setting with high risk and responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
Professionally deliver the duties as prescribed in the participant’s care plan
Always abide by the NDIS Code of Conduct
Below are the usual responsibilities (not limited to) a services manager would typically be expected to undertake:
Managing the delivery of services to ensure participant goals and company objectives are achieved
Facilitating the seamless onboarding of clients
Preparation and authorisation of care plans and related documents
Training Support Workers
Coordinating and communicating with clients, family, support networks and other stakeholders
Escalating important issues to the Directors
Ensuring NDIS compliance in all aspects of participant’s support
Ensure WHS compliance
Actively participate in internal and external audits and other quality improvement activities
Actively participate in expos or other activities
Developing policies to ensure high-quality care and compliance
Conduct routine client visits and ensure their wellbeing
Lead through complex and challenging situations with empathy and clarity, ensuring participants, families and teams feel heard, respected and supported.
Ensuring client documents are up to date and audit-ready
Supervising and guiding client liaison officer
Coordinating with admin/rostering team
Conducting risk assessments and implementation of risk mitigation plans
Closely following up on the changes in NDIS regulations and provider practice alerts and implementing the changes to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent experience
2+ years' experience in a similar field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Other Checks
Valid police check—less than 12 months old.
