This role may require physically demanding activities including heavy lifting, prolonged standing, field-based work and working in restricted or awkward environments.
Key responsibilities
- Regular travel throughout Victoria will be required, and the position may support emergency management operations during periods of heightened activity.
- leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- You will oversee a diverse portfolio including FFMVic depots, fire towers, base camps, cache facilities and related operational assets, working closely with regional staff, operational partners, contractors and industry stakeholders.

What you need
- demonstrated experience managing assets across their lifecycle, including maintenance, compliance, performance monitoring and optimisation.
- relevant degree, diploma or trade qualification.
- a current driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively across Victoria as required.
