You will preferably be in your 3rd or 4th year in 2027 or studying your Masters. Secondary Teacher students with a background in Economics, Mathematics, Science, English or Humanities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Program Overview

The Trainee Teacher Induction Program (TTIP) is a mentor program for pre-service teachers and aims to provide a tailored and authentic program to empower future Christian educators as they transition from being a student to the skilled teaching workforce. Drawing inspiration from Christian foundations of character development, excellent pedagogical frameworks, and the AITSL standards for Graduate Teachers, this program further aims to cultivate a positive, empathetic, and effective teaching mindset in pre-service teachers.The program runs for the school year, typically 1 day per week and is paid at the rate of a Teacher Aide/Learning Assistant.

- Foster a belief in the potential of every student.
- Provide pre-service teachers with practical strategies aligned with excellent pedagogical frameworks to enhance their teaching practice in Christian schooling.
- Support pre-service teachers in meeting the AITSL standards for Graduate Teachers through personalised mentorship and professional development.
- Cultivate a supportive learning community where pre-service teachers can collaborate, reflect, and grow together.
- Personalised mentorship tailored to the needs and goals of pre-service teachers in a Christian School setting
- Practical strategies and resources for effective teaching and classroom management.
