Your next career opportunity In this role, you will coordinate large-scale graduations, commencements and examinations across multiple sites. You will manage complex logistics and suppliers, ensuring these milestone events celebrate students and uphold academic integrity.
What you will deliver:
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics for graduations, commencements and exams operations, including production schedules, run sheets and onsite operations.
- Brief and manage event and logistics suppliers, ensuring services meet specifications, budgets, safety and risk requirements.
- Support the Event Producer with compliance, quality assurance and risk assessments for all ceremonies and examinations.
- Train, support and supervise casual staff during peak periods, fostering consistent, high-quality service at events.
- Contribute to process improvements, post-event reviews and planning that enhance future student-facing events and services.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Love working on events! You thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure and enjoy the event planning and delivery cycle.
- Hold an undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience, and an Employee Working with Children Check.
- Offer substantial experience, ideally five or more years, delivering large-scale events with complex logistics.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, thriving under deadlines while prioritising multiple events and competing demands.
- Bring excellent written and verbal communication skills,
including drafting guidelines and training materials for diverse audiences.
- Use Microsoft Office, databases and CRM systems confidently to manage data, reporting and event administration.
- Apply solid financial acumen to track event budgets, model future costs and manage supplier quotes.
