Assent Engineering is a proudly Western Australian owned and operated company specialising in the design and manufacture of drilling equipment for the mining and water well industries. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Forrestfield.

This is a hands‑on role that is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, takes pride in keeping things organised, and understands the importance of supporting workshop and production teams.

About the Role

As our Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring materials, consumables and equipment are received, stored, controlled and issued accurately to support our operations. You will be part of a close‑knit team and contribute to maintaining an efficient, secure and well‑organised warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
- Picking and issuing materials to workshop and project teams
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Assisting with packing and dispatch of ordersMaintaining accurate inventory records
- Assisting with stocktakes
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages




- Preparing materials for fabrication and assembly teams
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse/yard environment over 2 adjoining sites
- Following all company safety procedures and requirements

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience
- A current Forklift License
- A current Manual Driver's License
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
