Key responsibilities
- Working within a supportive multidisciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health team, you'll provide peer-based support to families and carers of young people experiencing mental health challenges, helping them access the information, services and resources they need throughout their journey.
What you need
- Current drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
- Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or willingness and commitment to obtain.
- Personal lived or living experience as a family member or carer for a young person with a mental health condition between 0-17 and ability to utilise the lived experience to support other carers in their own mental health caring journey.
