You will collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders whilst developing your legal knowledge and practical skills supporting the Department's health, ambulance services, mental health and ageing portfolios.

Key responsibilities

- As the Generalist Paralegal, you will report to the Legal Practice Manager within the Legal and Governance Branch and will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of legal services across the Branch.
- Working under the supervision of senior solicitors, you will provide paralegal support across a broad range of legal matters, with work allocated according to business priorities and operational needs.
- The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of all Victorians.

What you need

- A law degree or related qualification is an advantage.
- Experience as a paralegal or within the legal field is an advantage.
