Loan Processing Officer - International SME Fintech

- Role: Loan Processing Officer (fluent Cantonese and English required)
- Location: Toorak, Melbourne
- Work arrangement: Full-time; Onsite. You must be willing to work 11am to 7pm Melbourne time.
- Compensation: AUD 65,000–70,000 + Super

You’ll be joining a fast-growing international fintech focused on flexible funding for SMEs. The business has expanded from Australia across APAC and Europe and continues to scale its lending operations.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare loan applications for internal assessment so files move forward cleanly and on time
- Review application details and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, and missing information
- Coordinate contract execution, including signatures and document flow, to help loans move through to activation
- Maintain accurate records across internal systems and spreadsheets, checking that data stays current and reliable
- Work with internal stakeholders to progress applications, resolve processing issues, and keep handovers smooth
- Escalate discrepancies, delays, and documentation issues early so service levels and deadlines stay on track

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll likely be a strong fit if you’re comfortable owning a structured processing queue and you care about getting the details right.

Must-Haves

- Hands-on experience processing loan applications or other document-heavy, workflow-based cases with a high level of accuracy
- Fluent Cantonese and fluent English
- Robust attention to detail across documents, data entry, signatures, and record keeping




- Confidence working in a structured, process-driven environment with routine deadlines and repeatable tasks
- Reliable follow-through: you keep your queue moving, communicate blockers early, and escape issues before they become delays

Nice-To-Haves

- Experience in lending or financial services operations
- Experience coordinating contracts, signatures, or similar document-flow processes
- Early-career to mid-level operations or administration experience where you’ve managed your own workload with limited day-to-day supervision
- Strong Excel skills and good spreadsheet discipline
- Experience handling multiple files, deadlines, and handoffs in a steady workflow environment
