Peninsula Pulmonary Function Laboratory is a well-established private respiratory laboratory located in Frenchs Forest. As a fully accredited laboratory with the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), we provide high-quality respiratory diagnostic testing and support the Respiratory and Sleep Physicians of Peninsula Respiratory Group.

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated Respiratory Physiologist to join our supportive team on a permanent part-time basis.

This is an excellent prospect for an experienced Respiratory Physiologist seeking a stable, long-term role, or for a healthcare/science graduate looking to develop specialised skills in respiratory diagnostics.

About the Role

You will perform a range of respiratory diagnostic tests while ensuring all procedures meet accreditation and quality standards.





A range of comprehensive respiratory testing and other specialised respiratory investigations (ie. spirometry, bodyplethysmograpy, gas transfer, bronchial challenges and so forth)

About You

- Degree qualification in Medical Science, Health Science, Nursing or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Passion for delivering excellent patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience performing pulmonary function testing
- Knowledge of TSANZ standards and quality processes
- Training can be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Remuneration

Competitive remuneration based on qualifications and experience, in accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020.
