Program Support Officer, Primary Care Commissioning
Docklands, Australia

- Remuneration: Band 2 - $ 66,719.06 - $75,891.73 + 12% superannuation

About the role
As the Program Support Officer, Primary Care Commissioning, you will provide administrative and coordination support across a portfolio of programs that strengthen primary health care services and improve health outcomes across Melbourne's north-west. The role supports the planning, delivery and monitoring of commissioned programs through project administration, stakeholder coordination, reporting and data management.
The role sits within the Health Systems Integration Directorate and within with the Primary Health Care Improvement team, as well as commissioned providers, primary care partners and other stakeholders to support the effective delivery of primary care initiatives.

- Providing administrative support across primary care commissioning programs, ensuring activities are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintaining project plans, action logs, risk registers and program documentation.
- Collecting, checking and collating data and information to support reporting, monitoring and quality improvement activities.
- Preparing routine correspondence, reports, presentations and stakeholder communications.
- Supporting contract administration and the tracking of program deliverables and milestones.
- Liaising with commissioned providers, primary care stakeholders and internal teams to support program activities and stakeholder engagement.
- Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes, systems and team workflows.
About you:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in administration, project support, health, community services or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality project support or coordination within a busy team environment.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing correspondence, meeting minutes and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience collecting, organising and presenting information accurately to support reporting and decision-making.
- A cooperative and proactive approach, with the ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- A commitment to supporting programs that strengthen primary care services and improve health outcomes.
