Job Description

The Senior Project Officer plays a key role in delivering projects that enhance and transform Bellarine Bayside's visitor experience. This is an opportunity to help create contemporary, accessible and sustainable coastal destinations that recognise and respect the rights, aspirations and enduring connection to Country of the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners.

You will lead the planning and delivery of priority projects funded through annual budgets and grants, aligned with Bellarine Bayside's Coastal and Marine Management Plan. Projects vary in scale and complexity and include visitor infrastructure such as buildings, boat ramps, playgrounds, shelters, trails, landscaping works, coastal protection assets and other community facilities.

As an experienced project manager, you will oversee projects from inception to completion,



ensuring they are well scoped and delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. Working within legislative and policy frameworks, you will manage planning, design, approvals, procurement, construction and handover.

Success in this role will require demonstrated experience in managing a project lifecycle, including concept development, business cases, stakeholder engagement, quantity surveying, detailed design, procurement, contract management and construction delivery, supported by robust communication and stakeholder management skills.

This role incorporates flexible working arrangements including a paid Fortnight Day Off.
