Cement Australia has an opportunity for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our Packaged Products team, based at our Pinkenba site.

This isn’t a traditional warehouse-based stock control role. You’ll take ownership of inventory accuracy, availability and replenishment across our national network of manufacturing sites, depots and distribution centres , working closely with production, logistics, suppliers and key internal teams to keep product moving and inventory at the right levels.

In this role you will:

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

- Manage inventory levels, replenishment and stock accuracy across our national network
- Coordinate and procure raw materials to support manufacturing requirements
- Monitor stock availability and proactively address potential supply issues
- Manage cycle counts and investigate inventory and production variances
- Identify root causes of discrepancies and implement preventative solutions
- Coordinate stock transfers with our Freight & Logistics teams
- Work with suppliers and transport providers to ensure materials and products arrive within required lead times
- Process inventory-related purchase requisitions, orders and resolve invoice issues
- Analyse inventory, production and supplier performance and provide meaningful reporting
- Support Operations, Sales and Customer Service teams with inventory and supply enquiries
- Identify and implement system, process and inventory control improvements

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who understands the bigger picture of inventory – not just counting stock, but how planning, production, supply, logistics and inventory accuracy all work together.

You’ll ideally bring:

- 3+ years’ experience in inventory control, inventory planning, replenishment or a similar supply chain role
- Experience within manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, FMCG or another high-volume supply environment
- Strong inventory planning and stock control knowledge
- Confidence investigating stock discrepancies and getting to the root cause of issues
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret inventory and operational data
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and confidence working across operations, logistics,



suppliers and other stakeholders
- A proactive approach – you’re comfortable identifying an issue, taking ownership and seeing it through
- Solid Microsoft Office and database skills
- SAP inventory experience will be highly regarded
