Approximately40 hours, start and finish times will vary due to vessel departures and return times, lay days and slipping periods. Will include weekend work as required. SALARY DOA depending on skill set and qualifications

Job description-

- Oversee, conduct, and plan routine maintenance and breakdown work so the fleet is in a positive working order as per our fleet management program, Seaflux.
- Liaise and report to company directors on issues and works needed
- Record and document maintenance tasks and scheduling
- Plan and book inspections for Fire/Gas/Rigging Etc.
- Plan and manage slipping/haul out periods
- Managing of workshop space, equipment, and tools
- Ordering of parts/spares/stock
- Liaise with operations manager for any required repairs and maintenance




- Manage crew maintenance/education for tasks to be completed while on charter
- Ensure vessel tenders are serviced and in good working order
- Assist with operations when needed
- Vessel Movements between berths and anchor

Skills needed:

- Trade qualifications / skill are highly advantageous
- Hand and power tool use
- 12/24v electrical systems and wiring
- Painting and product knowledge
- Fiber Glassing
- Diesel engine and mechanical knowledge are highly advantageous
- Fabrication (not required but advantageous)
- Competent Organisational and planning skills are
- Vessel handling and berthing

Qualifications/certificates: preferred but not required

- MED3 or MED2
- Master 24m
- First Aid
- Knowledge of local industry an advantage
