Key responsibilities

- Responsible for developing and implementing medical staff planning - including, strategic planning, succession planning and rostering.
- In this role, you will: In collaboration with the Clinical Director - Women's and Children's Division, coordinates the clinical teaching and supervision of undergraduate students, trainees and junior staff.
- Ensures that each consumer's care has a direct line of responsibility to a Consultant (in their relevant specialty).
- Oversees and facilitates the care of complex consumers including chairing of multi-agency care planning and priority in conducting second opinions.

What you need





- Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), and eligibility for Specialist Registration in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in Neonatology within a tertiary (Level 6) setting, with a strong commitment to delivering secure, high-quality, person and family-centred care.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior medical staff and build collaborative relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
