The Mission Software Solutions business delivers customised and off‑the‑shelf software solutions to Defence, Intelligence and other Government sectors. The business also builds capabilities that can be used for a wide range of applications in both traditional and non‑traditional environments; providing leadership in the advancement of technological modernisation of complex enterprises within Government.
The Opportunity
As a Windows Administrator within our AGO GEO SPACES program, you’ll play a key role in supporting advanced national security capabilities through the delivery and maintenance of secure, high‑availability infrastructure. Working alongside a team of specialist technical professionals, you’ll help ensure critical systems remain reliable, secure, and operational in a highly regulated environment.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for complex Microsoft Windows infrastructure, resolving incidents and maintaining the performance and availability of mission‑critical systems.
- Administer and optimise Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and VMware platforms to support secure and reliable service delivery.
- Manage the development, packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of applications and Standard Operating Environments (SOE) using MECM.
- Support and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure, including HP OneView and GreenLake platforms, while working within established security frameworks and compliance requirements.
About You
You are an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys working in secure,
complex technical environments and takes pride in delivering reliable outcomes. You bring a collaborative approach, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in support of critical business functions.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Server 2016, 2019 and 2022.
- Capability in Active Directory, Group Policy administration, and identity and access management practices.
- Experience with MECM application packaging, deployment, and SOE lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of VMware virtual infrastructure administration and support.
- Demonstrated experience providing Level 2 and Level 3 incident response and troubleshooting within enterprise environments.
- Ability to work effectively within structured security and compliance frameworks.
Advantageous Skills And Experience
- Experience supporting HP OneView and GreenLake infrastructure platforms.
- Exposure to highly regulated, government, defence, or national security environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure hardening, system security controls, and operational support within classified environments.
Due to the nature of this role, you must be an Australian Citizen holding an active TSPV security clearance, with the ability to be successful for a DISA/OSA.
