Role Description This is a casual on-site Dental Assistant role based in Carlton, VIC. The Dental Assistant will support dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, organizing instruments, and assisting the dentist chairside during examinations and treatments. Daily tasks include welcoming patients, updating records, maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment, and performing sterilization and infection control procedures in line with practice standards. The role also involves arranging appointments,



managing basic administrative duties, and providing clear post-treatment instructions to help patients maintain their oral health. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive experience for every visitor.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Dental Assisting, including chairside support and managing clinical workflows.
- Strong foundation in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care to support a wide range of treatments.
- Knowledge of Sterilization procedures and infection control protocols in a dental setting.
- Relevant dental assisting certification or qualification, or progress toward such credentials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
- Attention to detail, robust organization skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy practice.
- Experience in a general dental or specialist practice is beneficial but not mandatory.
