We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our Strategy and Impact Division on a full-time, 12-month temporary contract.Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will support the Finance and Services teams and deliver a high standard of financial administrative support to the organisation, including:
About the Role
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Preparing and processing payment runs.
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
- Responding to supplier enquiries regarding payments and account balances.
- Maintaining accurate vendor records and update supplier information as required.
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and taxation requirements (GST/VAT where applicable).
- Assisting with month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- Supporting internal and external audit requests by providing relevant documentation.
- Identifying and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Supporting Accounts Receivable with invoicing and receipting.
About You
You are a team player with attention to detail and problem-solving skills who enjoys working towards a shared goal. Our ideal candidate will also have a shared alignment with our organisational values.
You will have:
- Experience with Sage Intacct or other similar accounting software.
- Ability to interact with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
