Kinder Cottage Early Education Centre – Highland Park QLD
We are looking to fill the position of a Diploma qualified person for our Outside School Programme to join our boutique Centre situated in a lovely neighbourhood in Highland Park on the Gold Coast.
The Outside School Care position is part time (approximately 30 hours per week), and is working with our small before and after school group plus vacation care programme. A full drivers license is required as it will be a requirement to drive our small commuter bus. A versatile roster would be provided within our operating hours of 6.30am to 6.00pm.
We hope to attract a person who wants to have fun and to also work as part of a team, are considerate of the people they work with, along with the children they care for.
Our Centre philosophy centres around the theories of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky. We cater for babies through to school age children, and include a Queensland Kindergarten Education Programme in our four year old room. We have a bus service for our before and after school care which services several local schools, plus we also operate a vacation care programme for our school children.

Current Working with Children Check
Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
A Diploma in Childcare for the outside hours school position
