We’re looking for a Head of Technology who is responsible for the strategy, security, reliability, and operational performance of the organisation's technology platforms, infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, and cybersecurity capabilities.

As a senior technology leader, the role ensures technology services are secure, resilient, scalable, compliant, and aligned to business objectives. The Head of Technology works in close partnership with the Head of Engineering and Product leaders to enable innovation while maintaining robust operational and security standards.

This role is critical in supporting the delivery of high-quality health services, ensuring that technology systems protect sensitive health information, meet regulatory requirements, and provide exceptional availability and performance for employees and customers.

Key Accountabilities

The Head of Technology will be accountable for:

- Cybersecurity posture and maturity
- Information security compliance
- Data Governance
- Cloud platform performance and stability
- Infrastructure reliability and availability
- Disaster recovery and business continuity readiness
- Technology risk management
- Operational budgets and vendor performance
- Team engagement and capability development
- 10+ years of technology leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success leading infrastructure, networking, cloud, and cyber security functions.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary technology teams.
- Proven ability to operate effectively within executive leadership environments.
- Extensive experience establishing and managing enterprise cyber security programs.




- Experience leading security incident response and resilience programs.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks including:
- ISO 27001
- NIST Cyber Security Framework
- CIS Controls
- Zero Trust Architecture
- Significant experience designing and operating enterprise cloud platforms.
- Deep expertise in: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Hybrid cloud environments and cloud governance and security
- Strong experience across: Enterprise networking, SD-WAN, Wireless technologies, VPN and remote access solutions, Network security architecture, Firewalls and secure connectivity
- Experience working within healthcare, health services, aged care, government, financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated environments.
- Understanding of privacy obligations and sensitive data protection requirements.
