About the role
We are seeking aPrincipal Security Specialist (Security Operations) to provide senior technical leadership for firewall services (with a strong focus onCheck Point ).
This role suits a senior specialist who can combine deep hands-on technical capability withtechnical direction, service uplift, and transition leadershipin a managed services environment.

Required skills

- Deep, hands-on Check Point leadership: Extensive experience leading and delivering Check Point firewall implementations, migrations and BAU technical support, while still remaining strongly hands-on.
- Check Point domain mastery: Strong capability across architecture/design, software versions & upgrades, licensing/models, and connectivity/integration (routing, VPNs, interfaces, upstream/downstream dependencies).
- Executive-grade communication & stakeholder influence: Highly developed written and verbal communication, able to translate complex technical issues into clear options, influence outcomes, and build trusted relationships with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.




- High-tempo problem solving & judgement: Strong analytical troubleshooting, decision-making, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment without compromising service outcomes or risk posture.
- Industry certifications such as CCSEor equivalent are highly regarded.
- The role may require on-call arrangements to support the Checkpoint firewall service
