KS1 Teacher – Year 2 – Wimborne

Year Group: Year 2
Contract: Full Time – Part Time may be available

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Wimborne, teaching a Year 2 class.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced primary teacher who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and supporting children to achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons, while creating a positive classroom environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to succeed.
You will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum
- Teach and support a Year 2 class
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Have experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2
- Have robust classroom management skills
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting children's learning
- Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Have a nurturing and inclusive approach to teaching
- Hold relevant teaching qualifications or have suitable experience within a primary setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
