The role provides strategic and technical advice on a broad range of entity-wide matters, drives priority projects and initiatives, supports quality assurance, and ensures timely and coordinated responses to complex and sensitive issues.
Key responsibilities
- The role requires excellent stakeholder engagement, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Diplomacy, discretion, and the capacity to provide high-quality strategic advice in a complex environment will be critical to success in the role.
- The position also involves preparing speeches, presentations, briefings and other materials, and supporting high-level meetings, discussions and decision-making processes.
- The role works closely with senior staff, sector stakeholders, and Ministers' and the Secretary's offices.
What you need
- The successful candidate will bring significant experience in government, performance improvement, and sector and stakeholder engagement, together with a strong understanding of the Regulatory Authority's operating environment, challenges and opportunities.
- Qualifications and Experience.
- Essential: Experience working within a public sector, regulatory or complex governance workplace.
