We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day accounts payable function across the business.

/n

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a diverse portfolio, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and is looking to build their experience within the property development and construction industry.

The Role /n

Reporting to the Finance team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process and ensuring invoices and supplier payments are processed accurately and on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

/n

/n

- Processing supplier invoices and subcontractor invoices

/n

- Matching invoices to purchase orders, contracts and supporting documentation

/n

- Obtaining invoice approvals and resolving discrepancies

/n

- Preparing and processing weekly payment runs

/n

- Managing supplier accounts and responding to supplier queries

/n

- Maintaining accurate accounts payable records

/n

- Reconciling supplier statements and investigating outstanding items

/n

- Assisting with project-related cost allocation and invoice coding

/n

- Monitoring outstanding invoices and ensuring accounts remain up to date

/n

- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting

/n





- Supporting the broader Finance team with general accounting and administrative tasks as required

/n

About You /n

We are looking for someone who is:

/n

/n

- With 5 years' experience in accounts payable or a similar finance administration role

/n

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail

/n

- Confident working with large volumes of invoices and financial information

/n

- Comfortable communicating with suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders

/n

- Reliable, proactive and able to manage competing priorities

/n

- Confident using MYOB and Exel spreadsheets

/n

- A strong team player with a positive and professional approach

/n

- Previous experience in property development or construction is highly regarded but not essential

/n
