About the Opportunity
/n
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a long-term, secure defence project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant program of work, contributing to critical infrastructure within a highly structured and professional environment.
/n
This is a permanent position supporting a project with an initial duration of at least two years, commencing around June, with strong potential for ongoing engagement.
/n
Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Provide end-to-end electrical engineering support across a major defence project
/n
- Assist with project delivery through to completion, ensuring key milestones and timelines are met
/n
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, engineers, and controls teams
/n
- Deliver technical input, engineering oversight, and on-site problem-solving support
/n
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards, defence requirements, and safety regulations
/n
- Support documentation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
/n
/n
About You
/n
/n
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering
/n
- Proven experience delivering projects within Australia
/n
- Demonstrated capability across: /n
/n
- Project delivery and completion
/n
- Engineering design and implementation
/n
- Controls and related systems
/n
/n
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a secure, on-site environment
/n
- Eligible to obtain Defence security clearance: /n
/n
- Australian-born, or
/n
- Australian citizen for a minimum of five years
/n
- Ability to obtain and clear Police Clearance.
/n
/n
/n
Highly Desirable

- Experience working on Defence or secure government projects
/n
- Ability to operate autonomously while contributing to a broader project team
/n
