We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to join and bring their expertise to our dedicated professional team in Loganholme, QLD.

Role overview
Deliver design, engineering, and commissioning support for large-scale solar and BESS projects
Work across feasibility, design, grid connection, construction, and testing phases
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and test power stations and equipment used for the generation, distribution, transmission and utilisation of electric power
Lead and coordinate electrical infrastructure projects
Drive engineering standards, compliance, and quality, delivering design packages aligned with cost, schedule, and project requirements
Provide technical expertise in electrical service design,



ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Develop and review electrical designs (LV, MV, HV systems) for renewable energy projects
Install and test electrical systems and processes
Use software and perform detailed calculations to plan, design and develop manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications to improve electrical systems
Interpret schematics and Single Line Diagrams into physical layouts and BOMs, performing calculations for switchgear heat loading and short-circuit ratings
Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 61439, AS 2067, and other relevant legislation

Required qualifications and skills for this role:
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical/Mechatronics/MechElec with robust electrical capability
Proven experience designing modular switchboards/panelboards and producing sheet-metal manufacturing drawings
Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 61439
Experience with modular switchboard systems such as Cubic Galaxy (or similar)
Strong 2D design skills in AutoCAD
Solid understanding of Australian Standards and LV electrical equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of attention to detail and ability to work proactively
Ability to work independently and lead technical outcomes
Confident communicator able to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
