Job Description

- Processing end-to-end payroll activities including new starters, employee changes, leave, allowances, deductions and terminations.
- Responding to payroll queries and investigating any discrepancies.
- Completing payroll reconciliations and supporting statutory reporting.
- Working across PAYG, superannuation, STP, payroll tax and other payroll obligations.
- Interpreting Enterprise Agreements, employment conditions, policies and relevant legislation.
- Producing payroll reports and supporting audit requirements.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll matters.




- Ad-hoc duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

- Solid end-to-end payroll experience, ideally gained within a larger or more complex organisation in Australia.
- Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements, awards, contracts and policies.
- Strong reconciliation and reporting experience.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.
- Experience with Chris21, iChris, Aurion, or similar large systems would be highly regarded.

- Hourly rate between $45 and $55, depending on experience.
