The Company
Our client is a privately owned South Australian civil and landscape construction contractor delivering infrastructure and public open-space projects across metropolitan Adelaide.
The business is growing, the project pipeline is solid and its team includes office-based staff, project managers, supervisors and site crews working across Adelaide.

The Role
This role sits at the centre of the business’s people, safety and compliance functions.
One day you could be coordinating a new starter’s induction, the next updating the training matrix, helping prepare for an ISO audit or organising an employee event. You’ll be close to the operation and able to see the practical impact of your work.
- Coordinating onboarding, inductions,
contracts and new starter documentation
- Maintaining employee records, licences, tickets and training matrices
- Supporting recruitment, including job advertisements and interviews
- Coordinating training, refresher courses and licence renewals
- Assisting with WHS documentation, reporting and workplace audits
- Maintaining SWMS, toolbox talks, permits, PPE records and other site documentation
- Maintaining documents and registers within the Integrated Management System
- Supporting compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Managing document control across policies, procedures, forms and version updates
- Helping review and improve HR, quality, environmental and WHS procedures
- Supporting performance check-ins, staff events and broader people initiatives
The Criteria
- A degree in Human Resources, Business, WHS or a related discipline
- Experience in HR, WHS, safety or compliance administration
- Confidence communicating with both site crews and office-based employees
- An interest in developing your knowledge across HR, WHS and ISO compliance
- Construction, trades or subcontractor industry experience will be highly regarded
