Injury Management Coordinator

Bethesda Health Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Injury Management Coordinator to join our Work Health and Safety team.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting employees through injury and recovery, partnering with managers and healthcare providers, and contributing to a healthy, safe and engaged workforce across Bethesda Health Care.
The Opportunity
SUPPORT – Guide employees and managers through injury management and return-to-work processes with empathy and expertise.
COORDINATE – Partner with treating practitioners, rehabilitation providers and insurers to achieve positive return-to-work outcomes.
IMPROVE – Contribute to wellbeing and injury management initiatives that support our people and workplace culture.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate injury management and return-to-work programs for employees with compensable and non-compensable injuries.
- Support employees and managers throughout the injury management process.
- Liaise with insurers, treating practitioners, rehabilitation providers and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate safe, timely and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
- Review pre-employment health assessments and provide advice regarding an applicant's capacity to meet the inherent requirements of the role.
- Maintain injury management records,
reporting and documentation.
- Provide education and advice on injury management and return-to-work processes.
- Contribute to work health, safety and wellbeing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
What You Will Bring
- A health-related tertiary qualification.
- Experience coordinating workers' compensation, injury management and return-to-work programs.
- Knowledge of Western Australian workers' compensation legislation and WorkCover WA requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with employees, managers and external providers.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Highly regarded:
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Injury management, return-to-work or workplace rehabilitation qualifications or training.
- Knowledge of work health and safety systems and practices.
