Role Description

This is a part time commission-based contract role for a Senior Physiotherapist at Saaroni Physio located in the Greater Melbourne Area. This job will be best suited for a qualified Physiotherapist looking for 1-2 days work per week with the idea to build. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients. You will be required to build your own case load on a pre-existing base. Your day-to-day tasks will include assessing patients, developing treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, and evaluating patient progress. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a patient-centered approach with the ability to work independently and with a team of medical practitioners. Please note that this is an on-site position and must hold an ABN as a sole trader.
Three satellite clinics within Medical Centres, all close proximity to each other (within ~2km)- you will be completely supported by admin staff for all payments and bookings and be expected to work across all three sites.





Qualifications

A bachelor's or master's degree in Physiotherapy
Current registration with the relevant professional association and insurances
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physiotherapist, with a focus on musculoskeletal
Excellent knowledge of evidence-based practice and the ability to apply it in clinical settings
Robust assessment and diagnostic skills
Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Workcover, TAC and DVA
Early Intervention Framework certificate ideal
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and as an individual
Ability to self manage and experience with Cliniko or similar programs
ABN holder or willing to obtain one
High level of remuneration for services

Experience in private practice and additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., sports physiotherapy, neurological physiotherapy) are highly desirable but not a must.
