About the role

This is a permanent full-time position based at our recent Yandina manufacturing facility. The position is primarily based in our manufacturing facility and involves the electrical build, wiring, integration, testing and commissioning of BESS, hybrid power systems, switchboards, inverters/PCS, generators, solar and control systems. The successful applicant will work alongside our experienced electrical and engineering team on systems ranging from smaller manufactured hybrid units through to large commercial, industrial and mining energy systems.

Key responsibilities

- Electrical assembly and wiring of manufactured power systems
- Reading and working from electrical drawings and SLDs
- Switchboard and control wiring
- Integration of batteries, inverters/PCS, generators and associated equipment
- Testing, fault finding and commissioning
- Assisting with FAT testing




- Occasional site installation/commissioning work

About you

- Qualified electrician with a strong practical background
- Industrial, switchboard, control, generator, solar, battery or power-system experience highly regarded
- Practical, organised, take pride in workmanship
- Comfortable working as part of a manufacturing team
- Interested in learning increasingly sophisticated energy systems
