The Floor Supervisor is the hands-on shift leader responsible for executing live service at Basalt. Working a consistent Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM / 30 hours per week), this role owns the floor from door-open to venue-close—managing table flow, service pacing, section support, and direct table ownership of large group dining while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Live Shift Leadership: Lead shift setup, section allocations, and live dining execution from opening through closing lock-up.

- Service Standards & Pacing: Manage table pacing, guest seating flow, atmosphere, and sequence of service across the dining room.

- Large Group Ownership: Take direct table ownership of large group bookings, private dining, and function service to ensure seamless execution.

- Floor & Section Support: Actively support floor staff during peak service rushes, stepping in to run food, pour wine, and assist host desk ops.

- Shift Reconciliations & Lock-Up: Manage end-of-night cash registers,



daily float reconciliations, POS sales summaries, and secure venue lock-up procedures.

- Compliance & Safety: Enforce RSA guidelines, food safety protocols, and venue hygiene standards throughout service.

- Team Guidance: Lead pre-service shift briefings, coach casual floor staff on upselling and menu knowledge, and model exceptional service behaviors.

About You / Requirements

- Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Shift Supervisor, Floor Leader, or Senior FOH Attendant in a premium restaurant workplace.

- Availability: Full availability for Tuesday through Saturday evening shifts (4:00 PM to 10:00 PM).

- Reliability: Proven record of consistent shift attendance, punctuality, and accountability under service pressure.

- Skills: Strong POS proficiency, sound cash-handling skills, active RSA certification, and clear staff communication.
