Retail + E-Commerce Assistant (Fashion Eyewear, Hourly)

Shade Files Eyewear is an alternative eyewear e-commerce and retail business, representing some of the worlds best emerging and independent eyewear brands. As the business continues to expand, we are seeking a retail and e-commerce assistant to help support the team on a casual basis.

The role will start with 2-3 days per week (including weekends) helping with both online and in-store sales & fulfilment. Applicants must have retail, sales or customer service experience & be tech literate.

Following an onboarding stage, the position has the potential to grow into something more permanent for the right fit.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Fulfil online orders and oversee couriers

- Serve in-store customers and help with enquiries

- Help customers over phone or email

- Provide friendly and knowledgeable support

- Maintain the overall appearance & cleanliness of the shop.





- Receive and manage incoming stock

Requirements

- Retail experience

- Possess a friendly and outgoing can-do attitude!

- A real team player, working together in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

- Computer & email skills to help with online orders and enquiries

- Interest in fashion and aesthetics

- Versatile schedule; must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays and 1-2 days during the week to start

- Comfortable working both alone and with others

Bonus

- Some knowledge of optical retail would be a bonus, but otherwise an interest in learning about it is required.

- Ecommerce experience
