As a Bookseller at Five Senses Education, you will be responsible for selling children's books and educational texts in our Seven Hills 2147 retail store. This role is crucial in providing an excellent customer experience and driving sales in our specialised children's and educational resources store.
Key responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service to parents, teachers, and students seeking children's and educational books
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the latest titles, trends, and developments in the children's and education book market
- Assisting with inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising
- Collaborating with the wider retail team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business
- Working with the schools' team to support librarians and school buyers with quotes on children's book requirements
- Participating in author events and other promotional activities to engage the local community
About you
- A genuine passion for children's and educational literature, with strong product knowledge in these areas
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide personalised recommendations
- Retail experience, preferably in a bookstore or similar environment
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities to handle various responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of customers
