About the Role
This newly evolving role reports into a senior leader with deep data and commercial experience, working closely with Sales, Finance, Risk and Technology teams. It suits someone from a quantitative risk, credit risk modelling or pricing background, ready to own the pricing model and drive the platform rollout.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

- Maintain, enhance and govern the pricing model, keeping it accurate, fit for purpose and aligned to business, finance and risk requirements
- Design and build Python based pricing models, automating data flows between data warehouses and pricing tools to lift efficiency and scalability
- Lead the evaluation, testing and implementation of a new pricing application or engine, working closely with vendors and stakeholders across the business
- Build Power BI dashboards, calculators and reporting tools that support pricing strategy, portfolio analysis and performance monitoring
- Identify and apply practical AI and machine learning use cases to strengthen forecasting, automation and decision support, partnering with Finance to embed outputs into forecasting and budgeting

Skills and Experience

- Strong Python skills are essential
- At least 4 years' commercial experience, with a background in credit risk modelling, quantitative pricing or a similar commercially-focused analytics discipline
- Demonstrated financial modelling experience and a sound grasp of financial mathematics
- Experience applying data science techniques to generate commercial insights
- Hands-on experience implementing AI or machine learning solutions,



from development through to deployment and monitoring
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting
- Tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline, Economics, Actuarial Studies, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
- Background in consulting or corporate analytics, with the ability to translate complex analysis into transparent commercial recommendations
- Advanced Excel skills, including building and interrogating complex models and reports
