Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter | Full Time | 7/7 Roster

Maintas Industrial Contracting is seeking experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters to join our team for ongoing work within Tasmania’s mining and industrial sector.

This is a full-time position offering a 7 on / 7 off roster, giving you a consistent roster with long-term employment.

The Role

You’ll be carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs across fixed plant and processing equipment, including planned and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, shutdown work and general mechanical repairs.

What we’re looking for:





- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter

- Fixed plant maintenance experience

- Mining, processing or heavy industrial experience highly regarded

- Strong mechanical fault-finding ability

- Current driver's licence

- Safety-focused and reliable

- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
