About the Role Right in the heart of Fortitude Valley, LyLo Brisbane is where solo travellers, groups of mates and everyone in between come to crash, connect and explore the city.

We're looking for a Guest Service Agent to be the first friendly face guests meet at check-in and the go-to for anything they need throughout their stay - whether that's local tips, a late check-out, or just a good chat.



This role is perfect for someone who loves meeting people from all over the world and thrives in a social, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver a warm, effective check-in and check-out experience for guests, including pod, private and ensuite room bookings.
- Respond to guest enquiries in person, by phone and online, providing local recommendations and property information with genuine enthusiasm.
- Handle bookings, payments, and reservation changes accurately using the property management system.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating where needed to ensure a great outcome.
- Support the smooth running of communal spaces, the rooftop bar and co-working areas, keeping the vibe welcoming and the space well presented.
- Complete administrative and cashiering duties, including shift reconciliation and reporting.
- Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms and shared spaces are guest-ready.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and fun environment for guests and colleagues alike.

Skills & Experience

- Experience in guest service, hospitality, front office or a similar customer-facing role is highly regarded.
- A genuine people-person who enjoys engaging with a diverse, ever-changing mix of guests.
- Good communication skills, with confidence handling both routine requests and the occasional curveball.




- Comfortable multi-tasking across check-in, guest queries and admin during busy periods.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- A team player who brings energy and a can-do attitude to every shift.
