Due to expansion in our Quality team, we now require a Quality Engineer (Failure, Analysis & Reliability) in Mascot. You'll lead technical failure investigations and root cause analysis across products, manufacturing and customer applications to improve product reliability, customer satisfaction and business performance across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

- Lead technical failure investigations and root cause analysis across products, manufacturing and customer applications

- Analyse field, warranty and service data to identify recurring issues and reliability risks

- Drive corrective actions that prevent recurrence and improve product performance

- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and Service teams to solve complex technical challenges

- Support warranty assessments and provide evidence-based recommendations

- Contribute to new product introductions, product improvements and reliability initiatives

You'll bring

- Degree-qualified Engineer (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Power Engineering or similar).

- 5+ years' experience in Failure Analysis, Reliability Engineering, Product Engineering or Product Quality.

- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.





- Experience using tools such as 8D, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, 5 Why or similar methodologies.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, test data and performance trends.

- Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and quality management systems (ISO 9001).

- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
