Live Your Life Disability Support is a small, professional and motivated team based in Bendigo. We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Carers, Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

We support people with disability within their homes to live with dignity, independence and choice. We are looking for people who are genuinely committed to helping participants work towards their individual goals while delivering respectful, person-centered support.

About the role

Employment will initially be offered on a casual basis, with the potential for the right person to move into a permanent part-time position in the future. You will support people with disabilities in their homes to live with dignity, independence and choice, delivering respectful, person-centered support to help participants work towards their individual goals.

Key responsibilities

- Personal care

- Supporting activities of daily living (ADLs)

- Community access and social support

- Transport and attending appointments

- Domestic assistance and cleaning

- Supporting participants in line with their individual needs,



preferences and goals

About you

- Respectful, display a high level of confidentiality, caring and participant-focused

- Motivated to support people to achieve their goals

- Knowledgeable or experienced in supporting people with disability

- Energetic, dependable and able to use initiative

- Confident problem-solving in diverse situations

- Organized, with strong time-management skills

- Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing

- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team

- Open to learning and ongoing professional development

- Relevant industry qualifications or experience

- Current National Police Check

- Current Working with Children Check

- Current First Aid and CPR certificates

- Current driver license
