Dental Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist

Permanent Part-Time | Thursday & Friday | No weekends or late evenings

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist to join Dr Howard Holmes, Dr Arti Dyett and the well established and highly skilled clinical team at Carousel Orthodontic Centre.

This is an ideal role for an experienced clinician looking for a stable, friendly and professionally rewarding position within a specialist orthodontic practice, with the flexibility to pick up additional days when required.

The position

- Permanent part-time position — 2 days per week (Thursday & Friday)

- Additional casual days available from time to time to provide leave cover for other hygiene/clinical staff

- No weekend or late evening work

- Immediate commencement or a mutually suitable start date

- Established specialist orthodontic practice with a long-standing, experienced team

- Opportunity to work within a specialist orthodontic environment and develop further experience in orthodontic oral health care

About you

We are looking for a clinician who is:

- Qualified as a Dental Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist with a Bachelor of Science (Oral Health Therapy), Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene (AssocDDentHyg) or an approved equivalent qualification registrable with the Dental Board of Australia

- Currently registered with AHPRA and appropriately insured, or eligible for immediate registration

- Experienced in clinical practice, with recent hands-on orthodontic experience highly desirable

- Confident, professional and personable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to work effectively as part of a close-knit clinical team

- Committed to providing a high standard of patient care





- Has some flexibility to work additional casual days when other hygiene staff are on annual leave

Applicants must be Australian residents and hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Western Australian Working With Children Check. Travellers, unregistered international dentists or international residents need not apply.

Experience in orthodontics is advantageous; however, applications from suitably qualified clinicians with experience in general or specialist dental practice will also be considered.
